        Thank Goodness for my Zappy’s

        I took a summer trip to Ohio from California and brought my new SOM Zappy shoes with me. I was hoping to try them out on the paved hiking trails near my husbands family homes in Poland, Ohio. With multiple days of traveling by car and the regular humidity in Eastern OH; I knew that I would need something lightweight and breathable. These shoes did not let me down at all. More than that we took at trip up to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. It was a beautiful sunny day. Perfect for a walk along the boardwalk before our tour of the tunnels began.

        What we didn’t bother to check was the name of our tour company. My husband’s cousin booked a “Walk Tour” which meant we did another almost 2-3 miles walking tour before we got to the underground tunnels. I was so thankful for how comfortable and light weight these shoes were. Normally, after walking over 6 miles in a day I will have calf cramps and a left swollen Achilles. The next day after wearing these Zappy SOMs…feet, calves, ankles, and more importantly my Achilles were all in great condition.

        After years of having problems with my ankles, knowing that I can wear a comfortable pair of shoes and not stress about the next day is worth every penny I spent on them.

        Super Happy So Far

        I found SOM when looking for shoes made in the US and was a bit hesitant from the description, but 2 weeks later they feel perfectly normal and I rather enjoy wearing them. Obviously, can't speak for their longevity yet, but they seem very well designed and made. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
